The 360 booth for Jersey City's waterfront and converted lofts
Jersey City is a short hop from our Brooklyn base, and the waterfront venues along the Hudson hand the 360 booth a background nobody has to build: Exchange Place, Paulus Hook and Newport are lined with event spaces and hotel ballrooms that face the water directly, with the Manhattan skyline sitting behind every guest who steps onto the platform. If your reception has any flexibility on timing, opening the booth around golden hour makes those clips look even better.
Indoors, converted loft venues around Journal Square and The Heights tend to have the ceiling height the 360's camera arm actually needs — we ask for 7.5ft of clearance minimum, with an 8ft x 8ft footprint at minimum and 12ft x 12ft where the room allows it, plus a dedicated 15 or 20 amp outlet near the platform. We have loaded gear into most of the buildings along the water at this point, so we usually already know the freight elevator and dock situation before we arrive.
The PATH train also means Manhattan-based guests can reach a Jersey City venue easily, which is one reason we see so many weddings and corporate events booked here that pull attendance from both sides of the river. Whatever the venue, there is no travel fee for most Jersey City locations — we quote it from your venue ZIP code before you book.

What clients say

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions
360 Photo Booth in Jersey City — FAQ
Does the 360 booth work outdoors at a Liberty State Park or waterfront venue?
Yes, as long as the space is level, dry and has power access nearby — a dedicated 15 or 20 amp outlet. We will review your specific outdoor location with you ahead of time to confirm it works.
Can we time the 360 booth around golden hour for skyline photos?
Absolutely — if your reception schedule has flexibility, opening the booth as the sun sets over the Manhattan skyline is one of the best-looking setups we run in Jersey City. Just flag the timing preference when you book.
Does a Journal Square or The Heights loft venue have enough ceiling clearance?
Most converted lofts in that part of Jersey City do — we need 7.5ft of clearance minimum for the camera arm. Send us the venue and we will confirm before your date is locked in.
Do you charge a travel fee to Jersey City?
No travel fee for most Jersey City venues — Jersey City is a short hop from our Brooklyn base. We quote it from your venue ZIP code before you book, so there is nothing to discover on the invoice.
Will our guests coming from Manhattan have an easy time reaching a Jersey City venue?
Yes — the PATH train puts Exchange Place, Newport and Grove Street within easy reach of Manhattan, which is one reason we see a lot of mixed-borough guest lists booking us here.
Have you set up at hotel ballrooms in Newport or Exchange Place before?
Yes — we have loaded into most of the waterfront buildings in that corridor, so we typically already know the freight elevator and loading dock situation before we arrive.
Can the 360 booth be branded for a corporate event in Jersey City?
Yes — the platform, video overlay and sharing screen can all carry your logo and campaign colors for a branded activation.
What Jersey City neighborhoods do you cover?
We are out across Exchange Place, Paulus Hook, Newport, Journal Square, The Heights, Grove Street, Liberty State Park and McGinley Square most weekends of the season.
