Photo booth rentals in Manhattan

Manhattan events run on someone else's schedule — a loading dock window, a freight elevator reservation, a building engineer who signs off at six. We book the dock, send the certificate of insurance ahead of time, and arrive with a footprint that fits the room you actually have rather than the room on the floor plan.

Hotel ballrooms, gallery spaces, rooftop bars and corporate lobbies each come with their own COI requirements. We produce certificates the same day you ask.

Midtown hotels and event spaces typically require a certificate of insurance at least a week before your date, and many buildings also require the building engineer or a facilities contact to sign off on the freight reservation before we can confirm a load-in time. We handle that coordination directly with your venue's events team rather than leaving it for you to relay back and forth — send us their contact once you have a venue booked and we take it from there.

Getting equipment into a Manhattan building is its own logistics problem separate from the party itself — loading dock windows are often 30 minutes long, service elevators are shared with catering and AV on the same schedule, and street parking near a venue in SoHo or Tribeca on a Saturday night can mean circling for twenty minutes before a spot opens. We build that reality into our arrival time so your booth is tested and ready well before your first guest walks in, not still coming up the freight elevator.

Whichever booth you choose, the rental includes a trained attendant for the full booking, unlimited sessions and unlimited 4x6 prints, a premium backdrop, a props table and instant sharing to your guests' phones. Your print template is designed for your event rather than picked from a menu.

Travel: Manhattan is a standard service area — any travel fee is quoted up front, never added later. We quote it from your venue ZIP code before you book, so there is nothing to discover on the invoice afterwards.

What clients say

4.9 stars from 210 Google reviews

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Selly & Sherwin

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

Sasha & Gladstone

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions

Photo booth rental in Manhattan — FAQ

Do you charge a travel fee in Manhattan?

Manhattan is a standard service area — any travel fee is quoted up front, never added later.

Which Manhattan venues have you worked in?

Hotel ballrooms, gallery spaces, rooftop bars and corporate lobbies each come with their own COI requirements. We produce certificates the same day you ask. We have set up across Midtown, SoHo, Tribeca, Chelsea and the surrounding areas — send us your venue name on the quote form and we will tell you exactly what fits the room.

How much does a photo booth rental cost in Manhattan?

Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.

Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?

Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.

How much space does the booth need?

Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $150 per hour.

Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?

Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.

Do you need a COI before you can load in?

Most Manhattan hotels, event spaces and office buildings require a certificate of insurance before they will confirm your booking or issue a loading dock window. We carry a $3 million policy and turn around a COI the same day you send your venue's requirements — ideally at least a week before your event so building management has time to process it.

Can you work with a Manhattan venue's freight elevator schedule?

Yes. Freight elevators in Manhattan buildings are almost always shared with catering, florists and AV on the same reservation calendar, so we confirm our load-in window directly with your venue or building engineer ahead of time and plan our arrival around it, rather than showing up and hoping there's room.

Is parking or street access a problem for my Manhattan event?

It can be, depending on the neighborhood and time of day — we account for load-in delays from traffic, loading dock queues and circling for parking in dense areas like Midtown, SoHo and the Financial District by arriving with extra buffer built into our schedule, so it never eats into your booked time.
