What is a 360 photo booth?

A 360 photo booth is a raised platform with a camera arm that orbits around it. Guests step on, the arm sweeps around them in slow motion, and a few seconds later they have a cinematic clip of themselves from every angle — the kind of thing that gets posted before the night is over.

It is the most social-media-native booth we rent. Where a mirror booth produces a print, the 360 produces a video people actually share, which is why it dominates at Sweet Sixteens, corporate events and brand activations.

How the 360 booth works at your event

Guests step onto the branded platform. An HD slow-motion camera orbits them while they do whatever they are going to do — confetti, a group jump, a slow turn. Once they step off, a branded video renders automatically, ready to view and share by text, email or QR code.

You choose the music bed, the overlay and the intro and outro frames. For corporate work the entire output can be branded end to end, so every clip that leaves the event carries your logo.

How much space does a 360 booth need?

The 360 needs more room than a mirror booth because the camera arm sweeps a full circle and a crowd inevitably gathers to watch. Plan on a minimum of 8ft x 8ft of clear floor with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance — 12ft x 12ft is genuinely better if the room allows it, since the queue becomes part of the show.

It also wants a dedicated 15 or 20 amp power outlet. Setup takes about 20 minutes and we arrive an hour early to test it before guests are in the room.

What clients say

4.9 stars from 210 Google reviews

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Selly & Sherwin

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

Sasha & Gladstone

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions

360 Photo Booth FAQ

How long does each 360 video take?

A single session takes roughly 30 seconds from stepping on to stepping off, and the video renders within seconds after that. Throughput is high, but at a large event we often suggest pairing it with a second booth so nobody waits long.

Can the 360 booth be branded for a corporate event?

Yes — the platform, the control station, the video overlay and the sharing screen can all carry your branding. Every clip that leaves the event is a branded asset, which is why marketing teams tend to book this one.

How much is a 360 photo booth rental?

Like our other booths, 360 pricing depends on how many hours you need and where your venue is, rather than a flat rate card. The quote form returns a real number for your event in about 30 seconds — travel included — and additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.

How much does a photo booth rental cost in NYC?

Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.

Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?

Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.

How much space does the booth need?

Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $150 per hour.

Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?

Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.

Can the 360 booth run outdoors?

Yes, as long as the platform sits on level, dry ground with cover from rain and wind. The camera arm sweeps a full circle around the platform, so we also need clear space overhead — a tent with enough headroom or an uncovered area with good weather works, but we'll confirm the specific site with you before booking.

How is the 360 booth different from the 3D slider or the Glambot?

All three produce a moving-camera effect, but the mechanics differ. The 360 orbits a camera fully around guests standing on a raised platform. The 3D slider glides a camera across a straight track in front of guests standing on the floor — no platform, smaller footprint. The Glambot is a robotic arm operated by a technician, sweeping past guests on a red carpet for an award-show look. Pick the 360 when you want guests to be the center of a circular shot; the slider or Glambot when you want a runway-style capture.

Can the 360 booth run for a multi-day trade show?

Yes. Because the entire output — platform, overlay, intro and outro frames — can be branded end to end, it's a common booking for multi-day activations. Tell us your show schedule and hours needed each day and we'll quote it as one build.
