What a photo booth does for a corporate event

At an internal event — a holiday party, a summer outing, an awards night — the booth does the social work. It gives people who do not know each other a reason to stand together, and it produces something they take home. That is a different outcome from a photographer circulating the room.

At an external event — a launch, a trade show stand, a brand activation — the booth is a marketing channel. Every photo that leaves carries your branding, shared by the attendee to an audience that trusts them. It is distribution you cannot buy directly.

Branding the whole experience

We can wrap the booth entirely in your colors, build a custom start screen, apply branded photo overlays, print custom backdrops, and host the images in a branded online gallery or microsite. Consistency matters here — a generic booth in the middle of a carefully branded activation undermines the rest of the spend.

For a full physical wrap we need two to three weeks' notice so graphics can be printed and applied. Digital-only branding turns around considerably faster if your timeline is tight.

Capturing data, not just photos

Surveys and questionnaires can be built directly into the booth flow, so you collect product feedback at the moment attendees are most engaged rather than by email a week later. Opt-in contact capture builds a compliant list for remarketing, and we hand over a report of what was gathered.

The result is an activation you can put numbers against — engagement volume, opt-in rate, shares — rather than one you can only describe.

Working around corporate venue logistics

Midtown offices, hotel ballrooms, convention centers and gallery spaces all come with loading dock windows, freight elevator bookings, building engineers and COI requirements. We handle that paperwork as a matter of course and plan the load-in around your venue's actual access rather than the floor plan.

For multi-day trade shows, the roaming booth is often the better answer than a static one — it covers a stand where footfall is spread across a day rather than concentrated in an evening.

What clients say

4.9 stars from 210 Google reviews

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Selly & Sherwin

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

Sasha & Gladstone

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions

Corporate Events photo booth FAQ

Can you invoice a company and work to a PO?

Yes. We work with corporate clients regularly. For established accounts we can also arrange payment terms — an opening order of $5,000 or more is required to set an account up.

How much notice do you need for a fully branded booth?

Two to three weeks for a physical wrap, since graphics have to be printed and applied. Digital branding — start screen, overlays, gallery — can be produced much faster if your date is close.

Do we own the photos and the opt-in data?

Yes. Images and any contact data collected at your activation belong to you. We provide the gallery and the report and you decide what happens next.

How much does a photo booth rental cost in NYC?

Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.

Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?

Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.

How much space does the booth need?

Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $150 per hour.

Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?

Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.
