Photo booth rentals in Brooklyn

Brooklyn is home. Our booths load in through Bushwick warehouse freight elevators, up the narrow stairs of Park Slope brownstones, and onto Williamsburg rooftops with the skyline behind them. We know which venues have a loading dock and which mean carrying road cases down a block of cobblestones — and we plan the setup around it before we ever arrive.

Loft venues, converted warehouses, waterfront rooftops and brownstone gardens all have different power and clearance realities. Tell us your venue and we will tell you exactly which booth fits it.

Bushwick and East Williamsburg lofts are frequently on the third or fourth floor of a converted manufacturing building — ask your venue about freight elevator hours before you book, since a booth that has to go up a narrow stairwell needs a smaller footprint and more setup time than one riding a freight car straight to the floor. Street parking near brewery taprooms in Bushwick and Greenpoint and weekend crowds in Williamsburg gets tight on Saturday evenings, so we build extra load-in time into any quote for those blocks rather than surprise you with a late start.

Rooftop venues in Williamsburg and DUMBO come with their own realities: no working freight elevator means road cases go up in a passenger car in stages, and most rooftops cut off outdoor power access after a certain hour, so we plan indoor-outlet backup before the day of. Brownstone brunches and backyard receptions in Park Slope, Crown Heights and Gowanus tend to run on residential power and a tighter footprint than a hall — the roaming booth or the mirror booth in its compact 8ft x 8ft setup both work well there, while breweries and warehouse venues in Bushwick have the ceiling height for the 360 booth's full orbit.

Whichever booth you choose, the rental includes a trained attendant for the full booking, unlimited sessions and unlimited 4x6 prints, a premium backdrop, a props table and instant sharing to your guests' phones. Your print template is designed for your event rather than picked from a menu.

What clients say

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Selly & Sherwin

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions

Photo booth rental in Brooklyn — FAQ

Do you charge a travel fee in Brooklyn?

No travel fee anywhere in Brooklyn.

Which Brooklyn venues have you worked in?

Loft venues, converted warehouses, waterfront rooftops and brownstone gardens all have different power and clearance realities. Tell us your venue and we will tell you exactly which booth fits it. We have set up across Williamsburg, DUMBO, Park Slope, Bushwick and the surrounding areas — send us your venue name on the quote form and we will tell you exactly what fits the room.

How much does a photo booth rental cost in Brooklyn?

Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.

Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?

Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.

How much space does the booth need?

Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $150 per hour.

Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?

Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.

Can you set up the photo booth on a rooftop or outdoors in Brooklyn?

Yes — we run rooftop and outdoor setups across Williamsburg, DUMBO and Greenpoint regularly. We need a covered or weatherproof spot for the equipment (direct rain and direct sun on the touchscreen both cause problems), a stable power source within 15 feet, and elevator or stair access confirmed in advance since not every rooftop runs a service elevator late into the evening. Tell us it is outdoor when you request pricing and we will ask the right follow-up questions.

What if my Brooklyn venue only has a walk-up or a freight elevator?

We work with both constantly — converted industrial buildings in Bushwick, East Williamsburg and Gowanus are some of our most frequent venues, and a lot of them only run freight during specific hours. Tell us the building and floor when you request a quote and we will confirm freight elevator access or plan for stairs, and adjust our load-in time so nothing is rushed before your guests arrive.

Do you book multiple events in Brooklyn on the same weekend?

Yes, and during peak wedding season (May through October) Brooklyn is our busiest borough by volume — Saturdays book out months in advance. If you have a date in mind, especially at a popular venue in Williamsburg or Park Slope, we would rather tell you honestly now whether we're free than have you wait on a quote.
