What is a Glambot?

The Glambot is a robotic camera arm that executes a fast, precise sweep past your guests while recording in high frame rate — the same rig behind the slow-motion glamour clips you see from award-show red carpets. Guests strike a pose, the arm flies past, and seconds later they have a cinematic clip that looks professionally directed.

Because the movement is visible from across the room, the Glambot draws a line from the moment it switches on. It is the single most theatrical thing we can put in a venue.

What is included with a Glambot rental

Every Glambot booking includes a trained operator who runs the arm all night, directs guests into the shot, and keeps the line moving. Our technicians install and calibrate the rig and lighting before your event begins, so it is tested and ready before the first guest arrives.

Clips are delivered to guests by email or QR code moments after capture, and your logo can be watermarked onto every video — which is why brands use the Glambot to generate social content that travels far beyond the room.

How much space does a Glambot need?

The arm needs room to move: plan for a footprint larger than a standard booth, ideally 12ft x 12ft with clear ceiling height, plus a standard 110V outlet nearby. Tell us your venue on the quote form and we will confirm the exact fit before you book.

Because installation involves a robotic system, we arrive earlier than for our other booths and handle the full setup and calibration ourselves. You do not need to provide anything beyond the space and the outlet.

What clients say

4.9 stars from 210 Google reviews

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Selly & Sherwin

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

Sasha & Gladstone

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions

Glambot FAQ

Is the Glambot safe to run around guests?

Yes. A trained operator controls the arm at all times, the sweep path is fixed and roped off with stanchions, and guests stand clear of the movement zone. The operator directs every session, so nobody wanders into the shot path.

How do guests get their Glambot videos?

Clips are processed on site and delivered by email or QR code moments after capture, ready to post. Your event also gets an online gallery of every clip, and brand events can add a logo watermark to every video automatically.

How much does a photo booth rental cost in NYC?

Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.

Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?

Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.

How much space does the booth need?

Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $150 per hour.

Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?

Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.

Can the Glambot be set up outdoors?

Yes, provided the site is level, dry and has enough clear space for the arm's sweep path — an outdoor step-and-repeat or a covered red carpet area both work well. We'll confirm the layout with you in advance since the arm needs room to move safely.

How is the Glambot different from the 360 booth or the 3D slider?

All three create a moving-camera effect, but the Glambot is the only one operated by a technician in real time rather than running automatically. It's a robotic arm that sweeps past guests on a fixed, roped-off path for a cinematic award-show look. The 360 orbits a camera around a platform; the 3D slider glides across a straight track. The Glambot generally reads as the most theatrical of the three.

Is the Glambot available for multi-day activations?

Yes. Because our technicians install and calibrate the rig at load-in, it's well suited to running across multiple days of a conference or gala weekend — tell us your schedule and we'll quote the hours needed per day.

What power does the Glambot need?

A standard 110V outlet placed near the rig, the same as our other booths. Because the arm itself is larger than a standard booth footprint — plan on roughly 12ft x 12ft with clear ceiling height — we recommend confirming your venue's layout with us before booking rather than after.
