The party booth, and why the attendant matters most
Birthdays, Sweet Sixteens, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceañeras, graduations, showers, reunions and retirements — the booth does the same job at all of them. It gives guests something to do together, and it sends everyone home with a photo instead of a party favour they will throw away.
The variable that decides whether it works is the attendant. Left alone, a booth gets a flurry of use and then sits quiet. Staffed properly, someone is starting lines, restocking props, handing prints over and pulling in the people standing at the edges. That person is included in every rental we do.
Choosing a booth for a younger crowd
For Sweet Sixteens, mitzvahs and proms, the 360 booth is usually the right call. That crowd is going to post the clip before the night ends, which is exactly what a 360 produces. The Vogue booth is the other strong option — the LED interior looks dramatic in a dark room and renders a shareable video in about ten seconds.
For mixed-age parties — a milestone birthday, an anniversary, a family reunion — the mirror booth is the safer choice, because it is intuitive for guests who have never used one and roomy enough for a whole table to pile in.
What we need from your venue
Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance, which leaves room for the backdrop and props table. We can compress to 8ft x 8ft where space is tight. We need a standard 110V, 5-amp outlet within 15 feet, ideally on its own circuit rather than shared with the DJ.
If you are hosting at home rather than a venue, that is completely normal for us — a garden, a basement, a living room with the furniture moved. Just tell us what the space is really like and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.

Do you do house parties, or only venues?
Both. Home events are common for us. We need about 8ft x 8ft of clear space, 7.5ft of ceiling clearance and a standard outlet within 15 feet — tell us what the room is really like and we will confirm the fit before you book.
Are props included?
Yes. Every rental comes with a full prop table, and the attendant keeps it organized through the night rather than letting it turn into a pile. We can also produce custom props matched to your theme.
Can we add a flower wall as the backdrop?
Yes. We keep more than thirty handmade floral backdrops, and they pair with any booth. It is a popular choice for bridal and baby showers where the backdrop doubles as decor.
How much does a photo booth rental cost in NYC?
Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.
Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?
Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.
How much space does the booth need?

How long does setup take?
About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $150 per hour.
Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?
Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.
