Jersey City is a short hop from our Brooklyn base, and a good share of what we set up there sits on the water — Exchange Place, Paulus Hook and Newport are lined with event spaces and hotel ballrooms that face the Hudson directly, with the Manhattan skyline in frame for free. The 3D slider asks for more room than our other booths, roughly 12ft of clear width at normal ceiling height, and it's the converted lofts around Journal Square and The Heights that tend to have it — open floor plans built for exactly this kind of larger rig.
What guests get is a camera gliding the length of a track past them mid-pose, capturing the moment from multiple angles in one take. Stitched together, the result has genuine depth — the kind of clip that gets replayed on the spot before anyone walks away — and with a waterfront skyline view already in the room, the effect reads even more dramatically than it would against a plain wall. Does the slider work at a waterfront venue with limited floor space?
It needs roughly 12ft of clear width at normal ceiling height, which is more than our other booths ask for. Most waterfront ballrooms in Exchange Place and Newport can accommodate it, but send us your floor plan and we'll confirm before you book.
Do the Journal Square or Heights loft venues have enough ceiling height?
Generally yes — those converted loft spaces tend to have the open floor plan and clearance the slider's track needs, more so than a smaller boutique venue elsewhere in the city.
Can you time setup around golden hour for waterfront photos?
Yes. If your reception has flexibility on when the booth opens, we can work with you to have it live during golden hour so the skyline and light are both in the shot.
How much space does the 3D slider need overall?
Roughly 12ft across at normal ceiling height, plus a standard 110V outlet within 15 feet.
Is an attendant included with the rental?
Yes. A trained attendant runs the booth for the full length of your rental, coaching guests through each slide and handling setup and pack-down.
How long does setup take?
The track takes longer to set up than our smaller booths, so we arrive a full hour before your scheduled start to test it. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time runs at $150 per hour.
Do you carry insurance for Jersey City venues that require a COI?
Yes. We carry a $3 million liability insurance policy. If your waterfront venue or hotel needs a certificate of insurance, let us know before the event and we'll send it over.
