Can you composite the Manhattan skyline for a venue that doesn't face the water?
Yes. It's one of the most requested backgrounds for Jersey City events — we build a skyline scene that matches the view from Exchange Place or Newport even if your actual room doesn't have it.
Does the green screen work well for an evening reception after golden hour has passed?
Yes — that's exactly when a composited waterfront view helps most. The background swap doesn't depend on the room's actual light or view, so a nighttime indoor reception can still get the daylight skyline shot.
How far ahead do you need the custom background designed?
At least two weeks for a fully custom build so our design team has time to build it and get your sign-off. Ask about your date if you need something simpler turned around faster.
Do converted loft venues in Journal Square need anything different for setup?
The taller ceilings common in Journal Square and The Heights actually give us more flexibility — room for a larger backdrop screen if your event wants a bigger visual moment.
How much floor space does the green screen booth need?
Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft. We can compress to a minimum of 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance, and we need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet.
Is there a travel fee to bring the booth to Jersey City?
No travel fee for most Jersey City venues, since we're already a short hop away from Brooklyn. We quote it from your venue ZIP code before you book.
Is an attendant included with the rental?
Yes. A trained attendant runs the booth for the full length of your rental, managing the background and keeping the experience moving for your guests.
Do you carry insurance for Jersey City venues that require a COI?
Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we'll send it over.
