Do you actually travel all the way out to Long Island, or just the western end?
We serve all of Long Island — Nassau, Suffolk and the Hamptons — as a standard part of our service area, not a special-request trip. It's a longer drive than a Brooklyn booking, so we build extra time into our schedule for it, but the booking process and pricing structure are the same.
Is there a travel fee to Long Island?
There's no flat borough-style rate the way there is closer to Brooklyn — travel across Nassau, Suffolk and the Hamptons is quoted from your venue's exact ZIP code before you book, so you see the real number up front rather than a surprise line item on the invoice.
Can the mirror booth be set up outdoors at a Gold Coast estate or Hamptons venue?
Yes, with a few conditions — level ground, shade for the touchscreen, and a dedicated power run rather than sharing a circuit with a tent's lighting or a DJ setup. We'll walk through your outdoor space with you before booking to confirm it's a good fit.
What if our venue is far enough out that setup timing is tight?
We build a wider arrival buffer into Long Island bookings than we would for a closer venue, specifically so traffic on the LIE or a Friday crawl toward the Hamptons doesn't turn into a late setup. We still arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time on top of that.
How much space does the mirror booth need at a Nassau catering hall?
The optimal footprint is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, props table and a red carpet if you want one. We can compress to a minimum of 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance for a tighter hall floor, and we need one standard 110V outlet within 15 feet.
Is an attendant included with a Long Island mirror booth rental?
Yes. A trained attendant runs the booth for the full length of your rental — setup, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests use the touchscreen, and packing down at the end of the night.
Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for a Long Island venue?
Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.
Which parts of Long Island do you cover?
We're regularly out across Nassau County, Suffolk County, Garden City, Huntington, the Hamptons and Great Neck. If your venue isn't on that list, ask anyway — we'll tell you honestly whether we can get there and what travel would run.
How long does setup take once you arrive?
About 20 minutes once we're in the room. If your Long Island venue needs us on site earlier than our standard hour-ahead arrival, idle time runs $150 per hour.
