The Mirror X on a Manhattan corporate floor

Manhattan corporate work comes with its own logistics — a loading dock window, a building engineer's sign-off, a certificate of insurance your venue's risk team asks for before load-in. The Mirror X is built for that: six feet of frameless glass that breaks down into load-dock-friendly cases, the same interactive touchscreen and DSLR photography as our original mirror, and a certificate of insurance we can turn around the same day you ask for one.

The slim, edge-to-edge profile is why we place it most often in Midtown conference floors, Financial District product launches and Tribeca agency spaces — rooms that were designed by someone, where a gold wooden frame would look out of place next to the branding on the walls. Opt-in data capture is available on the touchscreen if your marketing team wants the leads from the activation, and the start screen, overlays and print template all take your logo lockup cleanly.

It needs the same footprint as our other mirror booth — 10ft x 10ft optimal, 8ft x 8ft minimum with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance — and a standard 110V outlet within 15 feet, ideally not shared with AV. Setup takes about 20 minutes and we arrive a full hour before your start time; idle time before that runs $150 per hour, useful to know if your conference has an early vendor call. Manhattan is a standard service area, so travel is quoted from your venue ZIP up front.

What clients say

4.9 stars from 210 Google reviews

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Selly & Sherwin

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions

Mirror X Photo Booth in Manhattan — FAQ

Can the Mirror X get through a Manhattan building's loading dock?

Yes. It breaks down into load-dock-friendly cases, and we build the load-in plan around your building's loading dock window and freight elevator reservation ahead of time — standard practice for the Midtown and Financial District venues we work in most.

Is the Mirror X good for a Manhattan trade show or conference floor?

It is the booth we recommend first for that setting. The frameless profile matches a designed show floor, the start screen and overlays take your branding cleanly, and opt-in data capture is available if your team wants the leads from the activation.

Can we brand the Mirror X for our company?

Yes — custom start screen animation, branded overlays, a print template with your logo lockup, and a branded online gallery. Send your brand assets after booking and our design team builds the whole experience around them.

Do you provide a certificate of insurance the same day for Manhattan venues?

Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy and can turn around a certificate of insurance the same day you ask, addressed to your venue's specific requirements.

How much space does the Mirror X need on a show floor?

10ft x 10ft is optimal, and we compress to 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance for a tighter booth space. We need one standard 110V outlet within 15 feet, ideally not shared with AV equipment.

Can you arrive early for a conference vendor call?

Yes. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time as standard; if your conference's vendor access opens earlier than that, idle time runs $150 per hour.

Is an attendant included?

Yes. A trained attendant runs the Mirror X for your full Manhattan booking — setup, guiding guests through the touchscreen, and coordinating with your event or AV team as needed.

What is the difference between the Mirror X and the magic mirror?

Feature for feature they are the same booth. The Mirror X is frameless glass built for a modern corporate floor; the original magic mirror has the classic gold frame most weddings and galas choose.
