Photo booth rentals in Park Slope

Park Slope is brownstone Brooklyn — parlor floors, backyard tents and Prospect Park–adjacent venues built for showers, brunches and receptions with fewer than 100 guests. Many of these events run in a private home rather than a rented hall, which changes the setup math: a narrow brownstone stairwell means the booth has to travel light, and a shared brownstone electrical panel means we confirm circuits before the day of, not during it.

Backyard and garden receptions are common here in warm months, and Prospect Park's edges give planners a green backdrop without leaving the neighborhood. We plan for a covered, level spot for the booth and a weather backup, since a Park Slope backyard rarely has a second indoor option big enough for a full setup.

The compact mirror booth and the roaming booth both work well in a parlor floor or a tented yard where floor space is limited; the 360 booth needs more clearance than most brownstone interiors offer, so we will tell you honestly if your space calls for something else.

Whichever booth you choose, the rental includes a trained attendant for the full booking, unlimited sessions and unlimited 4x6 prints, a premium backdrop, a props table and instant sharing to your guests' phones. Your print template is designed for your event rather than picked from a menu.

What clients say

4.9 stars from 210 Google reviews

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Selly & Sherwin

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions

Photo booth rental in Park Slope — FAQ

How much does a photo booth rental cost in Park Slope?

Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.

Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?

Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.

How much space does the booth need?

Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $150 per hour.

Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?

Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.

Can you set up in a Park Slope brownstone?

Yes — brownstone parlor floors and backyards are some of our most frequent Park Slope setups. Tell us which floor and whether there's a working elevator or just stairs, and we'll bring a booth sized for the space and budget realistic setup time around it.

Do you work backyard and garden receptions in Park Slope?

Regularly. We need a level, covered spot for the equipment and a standard outlet within 15 feet — a garage or covered porch works well as a weather backup. Let us know it's an outdoor setup when you request pricing.

Which booth fits a smaller Park Slope apartment or brownstone floor?

The mirror booth and the roaming booth both compress into tight residential footprints. The 360 booth's rotating platform needs more open floor space than most brownstone interiors have, so if your venue is on the smaller side we'll usually recommend one of those two instead.
