The vogue booth for Queens' biggest guest lists
Ten seconds after a group steps into the Vogue booth's LED-lined backdrop, they're holding a finished boomerang or GIF — fast enough to keep moving through a room that, in Queens, often has 200 or 300 guests to get through. The three-dimensional interior surrounds guests with programmable light rather than framing them against a flat backdrop, which reads well in the catering halls and event spaces that dominate Astoria, Flushing and Forest Hills.
The booth needs a minimum of 8ft x 8ft of clear floor — 12ft x 12ft is better, and the ballroom-style catering halls common across the borough usually have it to spare. We also need 7.5ft of ceiling clearance and a dedicated 15 or 20 amp outlet; because the structure is larger than a mirror booth, load-in runs closer to two hours at venues with tighter loading access, versus the twenty minutes a smaller booth needs. Long Island City's converted lofts tend to give us the ceiling height and power we're looking for, which is part of why we like recommending the vogue booth for company parties in that neighborhood specifically.
Queens hosts some of the biggest multigenerational weddings and Sweet Sixteens we work all year, and the vogue booth's ten-second turnaround matters when a catering hall's guest list runs long — nobody wants to queue for five minutes at a party this size. If your guest count is genuinely large, ask about pairing the vogue booth with our roaming photo booth so coverage stays high without a line forming. Queens is a standard service area with no surprise travel fees, quoted from your venue ZIP code before you book.

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions
Vogue Video Booth in Queens — FAQ
How much floor space does the vogue booth need at a Queens catering hall?
A minimum of 8ft x 8ft, 12ft x 12ft if the room allows it, with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance and a dedicated 15 or 20 amp outlet. Most Astoria, Flushing and Forest Hills catering halls have room to spare; a Long Island City loft usually does too.
How long does load-in take for the vogue booth?
About 20 minutes at a venue with easy access, closer to two hours where loading is restricted — some older catering halls have a single service entrance we need to plan around. Tell us your venue and we'll confirm the timeline in advance.
Do you charge a travel fee in Queens?
Queens is a standard service area with no surprise fees. We quote from your venue ZIP code before you book.
Which Queens neighborhoods and venue types have you worked in?
Catering halls across Astoria, Flushing and Forest Hills, plus company parties in Long Island City lofts. Send us your venue name on the quote form and we'll tell you exactly what fits the room.
Our guest list is large — should we pair the vogue booth with another booth?
Often, yes. For a catering hall running 200-plus guests, we usually recommend adding our roaming photo booth alongside the vogue booth so the seated tables and cocktail hour get covered without anyone standing in a long line.
Can the LED lighting match our event colors?
Yes. The interior lighting is programmable, so we can set it to your palette before doors open — a common request for Sweet Sixteens with a specific theme color.
Is an attendant included with the vogue booth rental?
Yes. A trained attendant runs the booth for the full length of your rental, keeping the queue moving through a busy catering hall and packing everything down afterward.
Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for our venue?
Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your Queens venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we'll send it over.
Is parking a concern for guests at our Queens venue?
It depends on the venue type. Larger Astoria, Flushing and Forest Hills catering halls usually have their own guest lots; Long Island City lofts are more often a street-parking or ride-share situation, which we account for when planning our own load-in time.
Would the vogue booth work for a Queens quinceañera?
Yes — the LED-lit backdrop and ten-second boomerangs are a strong fit for a quinceañera court, and we can program the interior lighting to the honoree's colors before doors open, the same way we do for Sweet Sixteens.
