Photo booth rentals in Red Hook

Red Hook is waterfront Brooklyn at its most industrial — converted warehouses, event spaces along Van Brunt Street, and pier-adjacent venues near the Beard Street piers with unobstructed harbor views. It's a genuinely distinct backdrop from anywhere else in Brooklyn, and it's a neighborhood we plan for a little differently than most.

Honest logistics note: Red Hook has no direct subway access — the nearest stops are a distance away, so most guests arrive by car, ride-share or the ferry from Manhattan or DUMBO. That's worth factoring into your own guest planning, and it's exactly why we build extra travel and load-in time into every Red Hook quote rather than treating it like a five-minute-away neighborhood. Street parking near the waterfront event spaces can also be tight on weekend evenings.

Once we're on site, converted warehouse venues here tend to have the ceiling height and open floor plan that suit the 360 booth well, and the neighborhood's brick-and-water backdrop needs almost no dressing up.

Whichever booth you choose, the rental includes a trained attendant for the full booking, unlimited sessions and unlimited 4x6 prints, a premium backdrop, a props table and instant sharing to your guests' phones. Your print template is designed for your event rather than picked from a menu.

Travel: No travel fee for most Red Hook venues — we quote from your venue ZIP code before you book. We quote it from your venue ZIP code before you book, so there is nothing to discover on the invoice afterwards.

What clients say

4.9 stars from 210 Google reviews

Magic Mirror Brooklyn is Absolutely the BEST thing we added to our wedding reception! People were still talking about how much FUN they had 2 weeks after, they LOVED Vallon and his crew who made everything so much FUN, the keepsake photos were Hilarious & guests stayed WAY later than they would have because we had this UNIQUE booth! Typical photobooths have NOTHING on this Mirror. If I could give a 10 star rating..I would!

Selly & Sherwin

Magic Mirror Brooklyn was incredibly professional and friendly upon booking online, particularly in regards to the rental of the Mirror photo-booth. They worked tirelessly to pull off our vision and went above and beyond throughout the process. On event day, they were professional and had wonderful interactions with each guest who came to get their picture taken.

Sasha & Gladstone

It was a pleasure doing business with Valen. He was very polite, professional and very accommodating. Him and his assistant had very good energy and kept all of our guests having fun. The table with accessories was kept neat and organized the whole evening. The booth was a big hit in my event! Would definitely hire this company again.

Questions

Photo booth rental in Red Hook — FAQ

How much does a photo booth rental cost in Red Hook?

Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.

Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?

Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.

How much space does the booth need?

Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $150 per hour.

Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?

Yes. We carry a $3 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.

Is Red Hook harder to get to than other Brooklyn neighborhoods?

Honestly, yes, a little. Red Hook has no direct subway access, so most guests arrive by car, ride-share or the NYC Ferry. We build extra travel and load-in time into every Red Hook quote for this reason, and it's worth mentioning to your own guests when you send invitations.

Do you work waterfront and pier venues in Red Hook?

Yes. Pier-adjacent venues near the Beard Street piers and Van Brunt Street event spaces are some of our regular Red Hook bookings. We plan for weather exposure and confirm power access on site the same way we would for any waterfront setup.

Is parking a concern for Red Hook events?

It can be tight near the waterfront event spaces on weekend evenings, similar to Bushwick's brewery blocks. We factor that into load-in time so it doesn't affect your setup.
